Thalla was Champion filly at the ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection at Starr Vaughn Equestrian on July 27. She received an 8.3 and wowed the inspectors with her fantastic movement and her charm.

This gorgeous filly was born April 6, at the civilized hour of 9:45 pm. Not only did Tequini give me the first SF filly since 2001, but she let me go to bed at a reasonable hour! Thalla is a lovely chestnut like her mom, and even has some of mom's wild white. Note the white spots on her knees! (Mom has a rather impressive belly spot.)

Her sire, Regazzoni*/*/-/*/*, has produced 13 approved sons and several champion daughters. He scored 152.16 at his 100 day test with a dressage index of 140.53, and received 10's for temperament  and rideability. Regazzoni is a son of Rubinstein I, legendary sire of European dressage horses.

Thalla's dam, Tequini*/*/-, (Frohwind/Tin Rocco) was a Premium foal, Premium mare, and was Champion of her mare inspection. She is an extravagant mover. Her sire, Frohwind, won his 100 day stallion test with 137.54 points.

This filly will be retained by Serpentine Farm. Look for her in the USDF Breeders Championship qualifiers in 2006!
