Pickwick HJ show in 2008

Following a fun and successful hunter career, Reuben is now competing in three-day-eventing.

He is trained and shown by Lauren LoPiccolo, of LL Equestrian in Auburn CA.

Reuben recently competed in his very first dressage show, winning his class at training level, test 3. This was his first time competing in dressage and was a nice warm-up for the following weekend in his first three-day-event, the Woodside International Horse Trials, where he competed in Open Novice.

Reuben’s attitude and effort at this event were terrific - notice the happy, relaxed faces on both Reuben and Lauren in the photos below. The three phases of horse trials really allow Reuben to stretch and show off his talents and wonderful character.
