Jimena de la Parra

Jimena de la Parra is a 15.2hh purebred Andalusian mare with predominantly Spanish  bloodlines. Bred by Andalusians de la Parra in San Antonio, TX, she is athletic, pretty, and good natured.

Jimena has produced numerous quality offspring including Babieca ESF, breeding stallion at Sunsinger Farm in CO.; Serrano ESF who, at 15 months of age, was Grand Champion Stallion at the ERAHC show in Lexington VA, competing against 25 mature stallions; Pescador ESF, breeding stallion at Christy Farms in IN; and Traviesa ESF, a filly owned by El Silencio Farms in WV. All of these foals are by the El Silencio Farms PRE stallion, Silver Solamente.

Jimena has been a top producer for Serpentine Farm, producing two exemplary sons by the bay PRE stallion Jalisco X; Serpentine Indigo and SF Amistoso. These two outstanding youngsters can be viewed by clicking on their photos below. they both have excellent conformation with beautifully correct movement. They are also both very friendly and easy to work with. Jimena produced yet another lovely Jalisco colt in March, 2008. As expected from Jimena, he is typey and correct, and very confident at just a few hours old!
