Jalisco has proven to cross well with many types of mares.
His purebred foals have excellent type, morphology, movement and temperament. They have excellent substance and superb minds. His foals from other breeds, especially warmbloods and AQHA/APHA, are exemplary in that they retain the type and best attributes of the dam, but also have the defining characteristics of an Iberian: elasticity, balance, uphill movement, and super trainable minds. This has been consistently proven over the years. Jalisco also consistently improves the mare in the gaits, the balance of the body, and the freedom of the shoulder. He significantly corrects mares with poor legs and weak loins, and his foals always inherit his outstanding character.

Foals sired by JALISCO X out of Andalusian mares are eligible for IALHA registration.
Foals from PRE mares are eligible for PRE inscription and revision, also.
Foals from other breeds are eligible for registration with IALHA as half-Andalusians.
Some may also qualify for other registries:
- Foals from AQHA and APHA mares may be registered with the American Azteca Horse International AAHIA
- Foals from sport type mares (Warmblood & TB) may be registered Iberian Warmblood IWRI
- Foals from Arabian mares may be registered half-Arabian.
- Foals from Percheron mares may be registered Spanish Norman SNHRI
- Foals from Friesian mares may be registered Warlander IWS
